Have this conversation with a classmate and when you have finished, switch parts, please

 

A: Hi …..

B: Hi …., how are you?

A: I am very nervous.

B: Why are you nervous?

A: Because it’s my first day at secondary school today. There are all new teachers and classmates.

B: Are all your classmates new?

A: No, not all. Tess is from my old elementary school.

B: How many kids are there in your class?

A: There are 25, 14 girls and 11 boys.

B: Who is your English teacher?

A: That’s Mr Green, he is tall and is about 40 years old.

B: How old are your parents?

A: THey are 36 and 37.

B: Is elementary school different from your new school?

A: Yes, In elementary school you have the same teacher all day and in secondary school you have another teacher every 50 minutes.

B: Are there other differences?

A: Yes this school is so big! There are so many classrooms and we have got so many subjects.

B: Which subjects have you got?

A: I have got Dutch, French, English, Maths, History, Geography, Biology, Arts, PE (physical education), RS (religious studies), Music and a tutor lesson.

B:  How many lessons have you got?

A: I’ve got 33.

B: Have you got homework?

A: Yes, but not too much.
