A: Did you hear that I am having a barbeque party?

B: No, I didn’t.

A: I am sorry I didn’t give you an invitation. Can you come?

B: I am not sure.

A: Why not?

B: I don’t like barbeques, because I am a vegetarian. I don’t eat meat and fish.

A: O, that is too bad. I want you to come.

B: I don’t want to go to a party where people only eat meat.

A: Maybe my parents can buy vegetarian food.

B: Really?

A: Yes, of course! I want everybody to be happy and have something nice to eat. What do you like to eat?

B: Do you think there are going to be salads?

A: Yes, sure and bread as well.

B: What I like very much is vegetarian hamburgers and French cheese.

A: Where can we buy those?

B: At most supermarkets. They have a special vegetarian department.

A: I can ask my mum to buy those then. I think we also have French fries and potato salads.

B: That sounds really nice! Thanks for inviting me. I know I am not always very nice to you, sorry!
