UNIT 1

LESSON 3       MY FIRST LESSON

My first lesson is English today. Mr Green is standing in the doorway. He is welcoming us:

‘Good morning Anne, good morning Jan, good morning Kevin.’

‘ Good morning all of you. Are you all present?

Yes, I think so.’

Have you got everything with you?

Have you got your bags, some pens and pencils,

your books and notebooks? Have you got your

school diary? Well done guys! I am already proud

of you!

In this lesson we are talking about all the things that we take to school. Can you tell me the names of all the things in your bag?

“I have got coloured pencils and a ruler sir", Naomi says.

“Okay Naomi, what else have you got, Peter?”

"I have got an eraser Mr Green, but I haven’t got a pencil in my pencase.”

“Too bad Peter, maybe you can buy some pencils.”

“Right, what has the girl next to you got on her table Emma?"

“She has got a pencase, some books and she’s got some notebooks.”

“Well done Emma, that’s correct.”

When Mr Green is walking to his desk, Martin is standing up. “What are you doing, Martin?” “I am looking for my calculator, Mr Green. It’s on the floor.”

“Can you see something on my desk which isn’t on your tables children?”

Anna can answer: “It’s a stapler Mr Green. You have got a stapler on your desk and we haven’t got that.”

“And scissors too.” “Correct, Mark. Well done children.”

“Can you open your notebooks now please and write down all the school items that we have got in the classroom.”
