CONVERSATION SHEET 15 LONDON
A: Hi, can I sit next to you please?
B: Yes, of course. Go ahead.
A: I think this is going to be a very nice boat trip.
B: I hope so. Is this your first time in London?
A: Yes it is. What’s your name? My name is Amy.
B: Hi Amy, my name is James. Where are you from?
A: I am from Belgium, and you?
B: I am from Holland. It’s not my first time in England, but it is my first time in London.
A: I thought you were English, because your English is so good. Why is your English so good?
B: Because I am at a very good school, Pieter Groen. And I have very good teachers there!
A: I wish my teachers were as good as yours.
B: Hey Amy, we’re leaving!!
A: Look, there’s the London Eye! I really want to go in there!
B: I was in it this morning. It was really great. So much to see up there.
A: How long did it last?
B: It lasted half an hour, but I wanted it to last much longer. I really enjoyed it.
A: I think I am going to do that tomorrow.
B: Where did you go yesterday?
A: I went to Trafalgar square and walked down Hide Park. The weather was so nice the last few days.
B: Where are you staying Amy?
A: At the Square Hotel on Rose Street.
B: No! Really. I am staying there too! We could stay together for the rest of the day.
A: Yes, I would like that. Let’s do that.
B: This is going to be a nice day!
