LESSON 1 HI, I AM KEVIN
I am Kevin, I am twelve years old. I am from the Netherlands, from the very nice village of Katwijk.
I have got a mum, her name is Theresa, she is 36 years old. My dad is called Alex, he is 37. I have got 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Two are younger than me. Hannah is only six and Nick is 8. My other sister is fourteen, her name is Sarah and my brother is 16, that is Ben.
But the best thing is that we have got a very nice dog, Bo. It’s a Labrador, so it’s not a small dog. He is 6 years old, just like Hannah. We all love Bo very much. He is a very playful dog.
This is a big family, but that is nice. There is always someone at home. There is always noise and it is always busy, but I like that.
We have got a big house, we have all got our own bedrooms. Except my mum and dad of course. We have got a sitting room, a kitchen, a laundry room and an attic. That is our play room. We have got lots of games there. We have got a small garden, but big enough to sit and play and eat in.
My house is not far from the new school. I like that too! It is only a five-minute walk.
My hobbies are football and computers. I do that every day. My mum is not happy with the computer but she’s very happy when I am outside for football.
