LESSON 3 MY FIRST LESSON
My first lesson is English today. Mr Green is standing in the doorway. He is welcoming us: ‘Good morning Anne, good morning Jan, good morning Kevin.’
‘ Good morning all of you. Are you all present?
Yes, I think so.’
Have you got everything with you?
Have you got your bags, some pens and pencils,
your books and notebooks? Have you got your
schooldiary? Well done guys! I am already proud
of you!
This lesson we are talking about today.
We are talking about everything we are doing.
We are sitting, writing, reading, listening, talking.
Mr Green is talking too, and he is writing on the
blackboard, and reading, listening, asking
questions, showing us the answers, and a lot more.
We are making a wordweb with all the new words.
We are doing this because it is easier then to remember all the new words. We have got a scrapbook for all the wordwebs.
The lesson is over very quickly. So now we are going to the next lesson. We are going to the other side of the school, it’s hard to find the classroom. There are so many pupils in the corridors. And our bags are so heavy! We are asking a teacher where the room is, he is taking us to that room. That is very nice. The next lesson is from Ms Henson, it’s Biology and we are talking about plants there. She is speaking English too! But the teacher is speaking easy English. She is helping us. She is showing all the difficult words in pictures. Okay, now we understand!
Next is the break! Yeah! But where?
