CONVERSATION
A: Why are you looking into your phone all the time?
B: Because I am ‘apping’ with my friends.
A: When you do that, you may be popular with them but with me you are unpopular.
B: I need to find out something urgently.
A: What is so urgent that it cannot wait for tomorrow?
B: You will be surprised to know.
A: There is nothing that you cannot tackle later…
B: …except for the homework that I have to do today.
A: Do you expect me to believe that you have no spare time?
B: I do but not now.
A: So…did someone tell you about the homework.
B: Obviously.
A: Personally, I think the phone should be switched off and left somewhere else for a part of each day.
B: Don’t make me laugh at you.
A: How about giving it a try for one day.
B: That’s uncool.
A: In fact, it’s a way to protect yourself.
B: How?
A: Without a phone, you have more contact with people you are with, like with me now.
B: As long as I am listening and talking to you, what is the problem?
A: No problem. Okay, I’m off. Bye.
